If boarding speed is important, and every minute on the ground means lost revenue... then why don't they extend the boarding hallway thingy (that you walk through from the terminal to the plane) so that passengers can board at the front AND at the rear of the plane?
I guarantee this would speed up the boarding and de-boarding process big time.
